CFSI Supports Give For Good

Provides $20,000 in Matching Funds to Southern Indiana Nonprofits

Did you know last year the Community Foundation of Louisville raised $4.3 million through their annual day of giving, Give For Good Louisville, to help support nonprofit organizations throughout our region? And many of those organizations are right here in Southern Indiana!

So this year, we are a proud sponsor of Give For Good Louisville – providing $20,000 in proportionate matching funds for Southern Indiana-based nonprofits on this single day of giving. Organizations based in Clark and Floyd counties will be eligible to receive a share of the $20,000 match pool equal to their percentage of the funds raised by Southern Indiana nonprofits that day. So the more they raise, the greater their share of the matching funds!

On September 14th, when you make a gift through Give For Good Louisville to support a Southern Indiana nonprofit, know that we’re helping you make an even greater impact by providing additional funds that will help our community continue to grow and thrive.

Nonprofit Sector Resource Guide

New report includes information on local nonprofits’ needs, gaps and overlaps as well as a comprehensive listing of area nonprofits.

Recently, CFSI released a new community resource to help address Southern Indiana’s needs. The Nonprofit Sector – A Resource Guide for Clark and Floyd Counties, includes a comprehensive nonprofit listing by focus area and presents findings from a survey of nonprofit community services providers highlighting the needs, gaps and overlaps in services in Clark and Floyd counties.

CFSI will be using this comprehensive report to make more impactful grant making. We are also providing it on our website as  a community resource that we believe can help the community address our greatest needs. Foundation fundholders may also want to use the information to help guide their grant making or find other organization who are making an impact in the areas they care most about.
