Kenton Wooden is a lifelong resident of this region and graduate of Ball State University. After beginning his career in advertising, Kenton became US Senator Evan Bayh’s Regional Director of Southeast Indiana in 2008 where he represented Senator Bayh in 18 southeastern Indiana counties. Following Senator Bayh’s retirement, Kenton joined the nonprofit world managing marketing and fundraising for a for 200-employee Southern Indiana nonprofit. Kenton joined the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana in January of 2013 and oversees the Foundation’s marketing, fundraising, and community outreach efforts.
Kenton is a member of a number of organizations including: Jeffersonville Rotary and Fund Raising Executives of Southern Indiana and formerly served on the Advisory Board for Leadership Southern Indiana. Kenton was a winner of the inaugural Southern Indiana Business Source Magazine 20 Under 40 Award and received the Volunteer of the Year award from Leadership Southern Indiana in 2013.
