(Updated 8/3): How to Help: Eastern Kentucky Flood Victims
Earlier this week, counties in Eastern Kentucky were hit with another devastating weather disaster as heavy rain flooded several communities in Appalachia.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has already reported more than 35 deaths, and said he expect the toll to continue to climb as rescue efforts continue to save people trapped in homes. Beshear also says they are prioritizing monetary donations, cleaning supplies, and bottled water.
The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana is providing the information below as a resource for anyone who wants to help support the communities and people impacted by the flooding in Eastern Kentucky. This list will be updated as we receive more information.
