Finance Associate
The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, Inc. has an opening for a Finance Associate team member to provide assistance with managing the financial and administrative functions of the Finance department for our growing community Foundation on a part-time hourly, non-exempt basis.
The Finance Associate works under the direct leadership of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaboratively in a team environment with other staff to provide the highest quality service to the Foundation’s current donors, investment and financial professionals, other nonprofit organizations, prospects and the professional advisor community.
Responsibilities include…
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Assisting with the Preparation of Financial Statements
- Supporting the Finance Team with Month-End Closing
- Helping Maintain the Foundation’s General Ledger
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
It is anticipated that this position will require a minimum of twenty-four (24) to thirty (30) hours per week. Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The successful applicant for this position may create a flexible, although regular, schedule within those office hours if agreed upon in advance.
Compensation
This position is an hourly part-time, non-exempt staff assignment. Compensation will be commensurate with skill level and experience.

Office Receptionist & Administrator
The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, Inc. has an opening for a team member to provide reception, administrative and office management services for our growing community Foundation on a full-or part-time hourly, non-exempt basis.
Responsibilities include…
- Providing Reception Responsibilities (i.e, Answering Phone, Messaging, Greeting Customers, Reserving Conference Rooms for Meetings, Catering, etc.)
- Daily Mail Receipt and Processing
- Office Equipment Maintenance
- Providing Administrative Support to the President & CEO, the Board of Directors, and Staff, as needed
- Managing Board Materials for Meetings
- Producing Board and Committee Meeting Minutes
- Logging Checks (and other routine financial administration duties)
It is anticipated that this position will require a minimum of thirty (30) or potentially up to forty (40) hours per week. Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The successful applicant for this position may create a flexible, although regular, schedule within those office hours if agreed upon in advance. The person in this position will be the first point of contact for constituents contacting the Foundation by phone or in person and as such must carry out his or her duties in a professional, welcoming, informative, and friendly manner.
